Who We Are

Church Ministries is the central organizing and outreach engine of our church family. We function as the spiritual hub that connects every person who reaches out to our church with the life-changing love of Jesus Christ. Led by Elder Mary Akers, our team works tirelessly behind the scenes and on the front lines of evangelism. We are a diverse group of elders, lay members, and volunteers unified by one purpose: winning souls for God's kingdom.

Every handshake at a community event, every Bible study request, every name collected during public evangelism, and every conversation about faith flows through Church Ministries. We ensure no interest is ever lost, forgotten, or ignored. Our approach is relational, not transactional; we follow up with kindness, patience, and prayer. We connect seekers to small groups, Bible studies, and caring church members, and we report progress transparently to the church board.

We celebrate every step of the spiritual journey, from first inquiry to baptism and beyond. A first visit to a small group is a milestone; a question about prayer is a victory; a decision for baptism is a roar of heaven's joy. We do not simply manage tasks; we nurture journeys. We do not just invite people to church; we invite them into a living family anchored in Jesus Christ.

In Church Ministries, no one falls through the cracks. Every seeker is seen, every interest is honored, and every soul is valued, because we believe that every person is someone for whom Christ died.

Our Core Values

We activate every willing church member for service. From the pew to the pavement, we train, equip, and send out laborers into the harvest.

We share the gospel by word and deed. Public preaching, personal testimony, literature distribution, and acts of service all serve one goal: introducing people to Jesus.

We do not abandon new believers. We connect them to small groups, prayer partners, Bible study leaders, and ongoing fellowship. A soul won is a soul kept.

What We Do

Four strategic pillars that drive everything we do

01

Assist the Pastor

We serve as the pastor's right hand for follow-up and outreach. Our team:

  • Schedules pastoral visits for serious inquiries
  • Prepares follow-up packets with literature and Bible study guides
  • Alerts the pastor to urgent prayer requests or baptismal candidates
  • Manages logistics of large-scale evangelistic events
02

Monthly Report to Church Board

On the last week of every month, we present a comprehensive report:

  • Total new interests received
  • Active follow-ups & Bible studies given
  • Souls baptized or reclaimed
  • Outreach visits & box lunches distributed
This ensures transparency, accountability, and strategic planning.
03

Support Every Department

We partner with every ministry to maximize soul-winning impact:

Sabbath School Deacon/Deaconess Youth Ministry Women's Ministry Men's Ministry Music Ministry Prayer Ministry

"A church where every member is a witness and every department is a soul-winning agency."

04

Centralize Every Interest

We maintain a master list of all interests from every source:

  • Community Services & food giveaways
  • Public Evangelism & prophecy seminars
  • Bible studies & prayer requests
  • Personal witnessing & door-to-door canvassing
Every name, phone number, and prayer request is recorded, tracked, and followed up within 48 hours.
